      Mikey DeTemple had this board shaped after watching our friend Tin shred on his door like surfboard... Tin's board was a bit bigger so Mikey scaled it down a notch and made it 5'1"... I, personally, had some faith in the strange shape and outline after trying a wave or two on Tin's a while back... This is our first try on the board as we are taking turns behind the video camera...

      Bottom line... This board made this oh so average, small day in Florida a blast... And that's what its all about, right???

    O’neill Team at the Rip Curl Search WCT 2010

    A few days ago I was telling O’neill how kick ass of a videographer and Editor Sean Benik is!!! One thing led to another, and they asked Sean and I come down to the Rip Curl Search WCT event down here in Puerto Rico!!! Im here to shred with the guys and lead everyone to fun surf around this area while Sean is shooting and editing for contest updates for O’neill… This video is the first video update of the event where I have a few cameo waves along side Roy Powers and Jordy Smith… Should be many more updates to come so check O’neill’s Facebook page for the latest…

    THE HUNT Igor (part 1)

    Finally some legitimate surf!!! Hurricane Igor had us on our toes as soon as he formed off of Africa… 3 days after forming, Igor Mutated into a picture perfect catagory 5 storm. We knew we had to act fast. I picked up Cory Lopez and we bought our tickets on our way to the Orlando airport. We arrived at our destination the night before the forecasted day of awesomeness… The rest of the story is in the video… We scored one amazing session in the Caribbean before i jumped a plane to North Carolina to meet up with Benny B and Brett Barley as Igor made his way up the coast… Story coming in Part 2 of The Hunt Igor…

    THE HUNT Earl

    Episode 3 of THE HUNT 2010… Hurricane Earl was one of the biggest and scariest hurricanes of this season… Earl grew into a massive cat 4 hurricane with a straight path for North Carolina. With Earl approaching within miles to the coast we knew it was going to be tricky timing the weather conditions while trying to find surf during Earl.  Here is our story…

    THE HUNT Danielle

    Hurricane Danielle was pretty much the official kick off to the 2010 Atlantic Hurricane Season. Since then it seems like every week we have a new tropical system forming. Danielle’s track took her curving way out to sea leaving the Eastern Seaboard with smaller then anticipated long period swell lines.  Ben Bourgeois decided to go as far north as we could to try and catch the best waves that Danielle was sending… here is our adventure…
