Finally some surf tomorrow!!! that is a pic of the swell charts for 16 hours from now, so tomorrow should have some pretty fun surf… As long as the forecast for the light southwest winds holds up we should be in for a nice Sunday Funday especially when the Jags beat the Dolphins!!! GO JAGS!!!… Now these other pics are showing the forecast for this monday and for next Saturday the 19th. This is where I get really excited!!!
On Monday I am joining Mikey DeTemple on his second trip for a new movie he is making. We are chartering a plane out of South Florida and jumping over to a undisclosed island in the Bahamas for around 7 to 10 days… Im pretty sure we have internet there so hopefully I will be able to do blog updates of our awesome surf, fishing and boozin for all of next week… Im also planning on taking my video cam as well to give you a personal behind the scenes look at the trip and how much effort Mikey DeTemple puts in to one of his productions… Lets just say we have 3 video guys and a still photog so everything should be very well covered. As of now it looks like we will be jumping straight in to some pretty fun surf and weather, but it seems to back off right before the forecasted next swell arrives… Now Im trying to not to count my chickens before they hatch because this is a very long range forecast but if it stays the same we should have 2 different swells in the Bahamas next week and thats excitement…
Im also really looking forward to this trip because it is a little unusual for me. Mikey doesn’t make short board movies like I am used to being a part of. Actually his last movie Picaresque was the first video I have been in that I was featured only on a twin fin… So my quiver for this trip is slightly different then my typical video trip… I will do a post tomorrow with some pics of my 3 board quiver… As of now all I can do is go shred tomorrow and get ready to party in the Bahamas… Check back all week for updates from the trip…

HOLY WOW!!! TV has reached a whole new level… My life was recently enlightened upon viewing last nights double episode of the new MTV series Jersey Shore… The producers have really out done themselves with picking this cast… I mean really, You couldn’t pay people to act this awesome… Half way through the second episode it dawned on me that once upon a time, we too had a pitch for a similar show… Here is the pitch… Titled: South Guido Beach “South For The Winter” Have you ever wondered where all these magnificent humans go once the Jersey Shore closes for the winter??? Look no further then South Guido Beach… The following pictures are from our test shoot night in the world renowned South Beach…

Cory Lopez was featured on a episode of the Fuel TV series First Hand in their 2008 season… If you don’t already know (which you should) First Hand is a show that basically tells the story about a athletes life and current adventures. So when it came time for Cory and I to go and do our 2008 O’neill East Coast Tour, Fuel TV’s camera came along for the ride… Cory is a surfer that I looked up to most when I was growing up on the Gulf Coast of Florida. So for it to be 15 some odd years later and for Cory to become one of my best friends, Hurricane Chasing partner and still favorite surfers it is just carzy to think that when I was growing up he was just a poster on my wall… Im super stoked that they included me in the episode and that Cory said what he did when talking about my hurricane hunting project titled “The Hunt” in 2008… I know this aired a while ago but now that I got this nifty lil website I thought I would post it up here… Enjoy!!!

Here is most of the Magazine exposure I got over 2009… I made it to send to my sponsors as a nice little year end wrap up but I thought it turned pretty cool so I wanted to post it for yall to see… In the process I fell in love with Keynote for MAC… If you don’t have it get it… I usually just would create this in photoshop but Keynote turned out to be way more user friendly for what I was trying to accomplish… I think this will give you a glimpse into some of the smaller things we have to do as, professionals, when it comes to keeping the people that pay you “to live our dreams” HAPPY… THANK YOU SPONSORS!!! Really looking forward to OH TEN!!!
