First, the Hobgoods, then Ben Bourgeois, Fred Pattachia, Gabe Kling and the Gudangs. Now it’s Alek Parkers turn. Not talking about qualifying for the ‘CT or winning an NSSA championship, it’s just another drop in the bucket of blog-world. Alek Parker is a lover of technology so it’s a surprise that it’s taken him so long to get with the prosurfersname.com/blog program. Hell – he’s had atwitter and a vimeo for a while now, it was just a matter of time.
So here it is, Alek Parker’s blog, bookmark it, make it your home page, email it to all your friends. Alek’s got a little more skills than the Goods when it comes to editing (storytelling, not humoring cause those guys are hilarious) and while he might not have a filmer as competent as Dion’sfollowing him around all the time getting footage to edit, he makes up for it by filming himself. Alot. Right now, I’m digging his post about TAP airlines being so shredder friendly – you should definitely check it out (LikeBitchin). All in all, Alek is a funny dude who knows how to press record and for the amount of traveling and adventuring this guy does it’s sure to not disappoint.

SURFERMAG.COM recently posted a video that Jerry Ricciotti edited together from our latest Spectacular Adventure to Panama… Just a little rough teaser that I don’t think was supposed to leave his Vimeo page, but oh well, we are super stoked they put it right up on their homepage… Enjoy, I know we did…

When you think of a boat trip you never think about 12 surfers… But when your putting together a spectacular adventure that is exactly what you are thinking about… Jerry Ricciotti put this boat trip together to the Lost Coast of Panama with 12 of the top East Coast surfers, 2 video guys and 2 Transworld Surf staff photogs… This Adventure is the last trip for the well awaited Spectacular Adventures DVD coming August 2009… Spectacular Adventures is going to be by far the best East Coast surf movie of 2009… But yes, there are a million things that could go wrong with a crew that big, but when it is 12 surfers from the East Coast , there are nothing but Good Times, Smooth Sailing and a whole lot of Beer drinking ahead of you… Brian Toth’s birthday was no exception to the beer drinking, as you can clearly see in this pic…
There were “Man Bear Pigs” and “Gorilla BullSharks”
And Seth Learned how to surf…
Overall this one one of the best trips I have ever been on with the best crew I have been a part of… If the the Spectacular adventures DVD portrays even a fraction of the amount of fun we had on this trip and every other trip throughout the movie, this is going to be the best East Coast movie this year…
Transworld Surf put this slide show up on their website of the trip…
